PSU has had a few decent scoring chances, including one off the crossbar... just need to get one to go in! Gotta get the next one...
Denver goalie playing a great game.... can see why they are holding opponents to less than 2 goals a game. ND just beat Lowell in OT.
Goal!!!!! Short handed under review. Stands!!! 1-2. 1:26 left in Denver PP.
PSU can skate with these guys... just need a bit of puck luck, as STPGOPHERFAN likes to say. Several opportunities so close...
14 seconds to go in the period...Denver gets a power play to close the period and start the second.
Settled into the game and skating hard but can't put these guys on the PP. Really careless penalty by Sucese.

Back to back two on one breaks showed the difference between these teams. PSU no passes, shot high and goalie stayed on his skates. Denver nice passing and Jones went down way too early. PSU has made major improvements these past four years, but they still aren't at the Denver level.
Here's what we got...:.HUGE experience for a very young team. Losing sucks but we were a year early by anyone's estimation...so I'm effing JAZZED.
Denver is making PSU pay for every mistake. They are solid. Just look at it as 0-1 times three. 
Regardless of what happens, a pretty amazing season and, as someone else pointed out, some great experience to take into next season.

Oooo. Our power play for 5 minutes is spent mostly in our end. What a mess that was. Maybe spent finally?
As good as Denver is, it doesn't help that Penn State can't seem to handle the puck or make any crisp passes. Penn State is out of sorts.

Not an excuse but we did play three OT games to win the B1G right? Maybe catching up to these guys.
Agreed. Not ready to pack it in yet, but it is looking like the season will end with a 1-1 record in the tourney.
Which in year 5 is amazing!! This team will be in the frozen four next season.
