I hereby abandon my lobbying for Boson Nickolf as co-Hodge winners.
I predicted at the end of last year that Jason would run away with it. Had he not been injured he was neck and neck with Zain. I thought Bo would have fewer pins going up a weight and that Spencer was positioned to go undefeated, and give Jason a room for his money. So much for my 2018 crystal ball!
As this year went on I didn't think the 2 pin advantage was enough to differentiate between the two bodies of work. Well, one thing is for sure. On the biggest stage is where Bo shines the most. Jason's semi was in a word a shocker. Definitely his worst match in 3 years. Bo's was well, vintage Bo.
All hail Bo the 2019 Hodge winner!!!
Tomorrow is simply an exclamation point.
Jason will remain my favorite Lion ever which is an esteemed honor in itself, and Bo you are simply amazing.
PS - my 2019 Crystal ball was saying Cael redshirts everybody, so that should make many of you rest easy
