I haven't been to a match before but will be attending Indiana and Purdue. I have a couple questions. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Can someone confirm that the Indiana match had been moved to 2:00? I have seen both times (1:00 and 2:00) listed.

Aside from the parking garage, what are other parking options?

How long before the match should I arrive?

Indiana is at 2:00pm, moved for TV.

Across Atherton St. from Rec Hall, is free parking also, I believe it’s a “Red A” campus lot.

I'd suggest arriving half-an-hour or a little more prior to the dual.

I was thinking about getting there an hour early. If nothing else, parking should be easier.

If all goes well, I'm planning on being in town between 10 and 11. Any advice for food (breakfast or lunch) before the match?

To eat early, go downtown from rec hall, turn left on college ave. to The Diner. Order sticky buns. Also a little further down college ave is the Allen Street diner.

The Diner is great at 2:15 am -- when the bars close, legally you need to buy time before driving, and you don't care about the food or disaffected art major service. Otherwise, you can buy their stickies in lots of places in State College and grill them at home.

The usual suspects for breakfast are the Corner Room (downtown) and the Waffle Shop (go to the one on North Atherton). If you want to splurge, brunch at the Nittany Lion Inn. (If you do, call ahead and see if you can get a table in one of the private Reading Rooms.)

Or just cut to the chase and eat at the Creamery. Wait, they don't serve breakfast? Exactly.

Why N Atherton?

I always go to the one at W College and Blue Course.

Dead right. I almost walked out last time I did The Diner in the morning.

You can get bacon and egg sandwiches and other do-it-yourself breakfasty items at the Creamery, I usually do, along with a whole lot of ice cream on dry ice for the ride home.

That would work too. N. Atherton is the original, but mostly the point was the downtown one is not as good as the others.
