Do people here actually watch other college football or just Penn State football?

Are you watching (#6!!!) Texas getting their doors blown off by a 4-3 Okie State team. Or that vaunted Purdue team that everyone said Franklin could learn a whole lot from last week, only to come back today and do virtually nothing to MSU.

My point is that I think people still think this is the 80s and 90s where the top 15-20 teams just rolled over everyone else. It's just not the case. Outside of Bama and Clemson, the talent gap between the overwhelming majority of teams is not what it used to be. Most games are won/loss on a handful of plays and all you can ask is that at the end of the game, you have a chance.

For 2 years now, we have given ourselves a chance to win EVERY. SINGLE. GAME. we've played. Sometimes players make the plays (Scott INT today, Trace to JJ @ Iowa last year, 4th & 1 stop in B1G Championship vs. WI), sometimes they don't (Thompkins drop vs. MSU last year, late INT vs. USC, Sanders fumble against OSU.)

Blame coaching all you want. But the fact is that the team has been put in a position to win each of the last 25+ games, and that's something that very, very few teams in the country can say.
