I was initially thinking about Pat Chambers, but this really applies to any coach. If coach X is bad at game management, recruiting, etc..How do the fix it? What if they don't know or don't believe it? Do they hire consultants? Do they ask other coaches?
Personally I am a physician and we continually attend education classes. We also have morbidity and mortality meetings to review cases that went bad. Additionally, we have quality metrics that the hospital measures. These include readmissions, patient satisfaction, infections and complications. Through these you improve and learn.
Can someone explain to me the quality improvement that coaches go through?
