I was skeptical that the Slider Burger joints were charging $0.79 for their basic mini-burgers, but it's true. I have never eaten at Krystal's and haven't eaten at White Castle since 1976, but these prices seem difficult to rationalize considering dollar-menu competition from the major fast food chains.
