His offense is top rate. He can carry that with him if he goes.
Will he have the skills and desire to go get top recruits to go to a second level program?
So can hope he needs a couple more years to prove?

He did when he was a Head Coach.... Don't think that would change.... However, I do not think he is moving on soon.

Seems nobody remembers JoeMo's quote that not everybody aspires to be a head coach. Met him and his kids in Indy, he said the family loves SC. Seems to really enjoy his role at PSU.

I have heard him say that and am banking on it! LOL ... guy is an excellent play caller and has that knack of knowing exactly what the defense is going to call and has the perfect play to counter it at key points especially in a game

Yeah you never really hear about him being a force on the recruiting trail.

I'm sure he can, as a HC, bring in decent players just from his reputation, and being an honest/decent/trustworthy guy. But I can't see him bringing in enough of the level of players needed to win at the highest level.

I want the bat for the guy, because, by all accounts, he is a good guy, and he's been good to us.

With that said, selfishly, I hope he's just going to enjoy the challenge of being a major factor in helping us win our next MNC - or maybe even bring us back to the dynasty that we were and can be.
