In light of Khaki pants going to Rome (I'm somehow picturing Chevy Chase in European Vacation)...
MSU printed something almost identical last year. JH has to love that he is inside so many heads in this league. One would think Ahia State has earned the right to talk smack to JH, but PSU is 0-2 against him.
I don't think it has anything to do with Rome. Just riffing on the famous Schembechler quote. In light of Khaki pants going to Rome (I'm somehow picturing Chevy Chase in European Vacation)...

Oh the humanity, it'll be rough for us having to settle for a B1G title.

If your goal is being inside heads but have absolutely nothing to show for it on the field, what's to love?
I don't see the value that the Italy trip brings from a football perspective. It's a nice free trip, but quite possibly a distraction during spring ball. Would it really help to sway a recruit? Maybe, but whatever.
He's in our heads while we're in Indianapolis....where would you rather be? PSU 3 Big Ten Championships since scUM won their last one.MSU printed something almost identical last year. And he finished 3rd behind PSU while PSU won the B1G. PSU also finished higher in the rankings, both from the AP and the Playoff Committee before the Bowls. Yeah, I'm sure Jimmy's thrilled with that. Maybe you'll think a little before putting something out of context next time.MSU printed something almost identical last year. JH has to love that he is inside so many heads in this league. Better yet, has he come in better than third in the Eastern Division yet?help me out here. how many bt championships has he won ? lmao.
If anyone wants to talk about "hot seats" going into 2017:Iowa Loss 14-13
Indiana Win 10-20
Ohio State Loss 30-27
FSU Loss
His last season in the NFL, the Niners finished third as well. Not even did he finish 3rd this year ... he finished 3rd LAST year as well. The highest paid coach in the conference can't finish better than 3rd in his own division lol. He's not in anyone's heads other than them thinking he's probably a tad overrated.
This falls under a different category that the high school visits that are being outlawed. Once every four years a team is allowed to do some sort of European exhibition trip but I don't know all the rules surrounding it. Mostly it's basketball teams that do this, as we did in 2013. I don't recall a football team doing it before though. That's got to cost quite a bit.And I don't see how this can help recruiting ...... unless the recruit has enrolled early and is already on campus. Apparently, these types of trips have been 'outlawed' by the NCAA effective next fall so any future recruits won't get to participate, or is this all up for review because Harbaugh has sway over the B1G and NCAA? Will Delaney come out with special 'one team' rule exempting UM from the vagaries of the NCAA? He's alredy done it with the FNC committee!
If anyone wants to talk about "hot seats" going into 2017:
If he don't put together a great year - and kick ass against OSU's "wet behind the ears roster" - he's gonna' look a lot more like Charlie Weis ....... than like Vince Lombardi (or even Bo "I can't win a Rose Bowl" Schembechler)
If anyone wants to talk about "hot seats" going into 2017:
I love how people hype Michigan...the same school that hasn't won the BIG since 2004 and they split it with Iowa that year. If they are the poster children for overrated then IDK what is.

College Admins value two things wrt "Sports" on their campuses (and they are usually, but not always, highly-correlated):Definitely not on the hot seat anytime soon. He's doing a great job and providing huge value.
But the antics may catch up with him, both on-field and off.
He never won the PAC 12 either. Not even did he finish 3rd this year ... he finished 3rd LAST year as well. The highest paid coach in the conference can't finish better than 3rd in his own division lol. He's not in anyone's heads other than them thinking he's probably a tad overrated.
