Huge issue uncovered on KC QB Mahomes

I put this on my steak all the time. Does that get me banned from this forum?

Aside from dry seasonings to taste prior to cooking, a properly prepared steak shouldn't need to have anything else put on it. Ketchup? A-1? What's the world coming to?

I'll take some butter, (spicy French) mustard, or au jus on mine before allowing it to be cooked WELL. DONE.

The real question is what tongs he uses when he cooks his steak.

Some people make too big a deal out of this kind of stuff....who cares what people put on any of their food? People like what they like. I put mayo on just about every sandwich I eat. I make my own steak sauce at home, but use no steak sauce at a restaurant just because it’s not mine. I like ketchup on hot dogs (along with mustard and relish), but I hate mustard on a hamburger. I’m not sure when it because socially unacceptable to eat what you like on your food.

No, but you need to temporarily hand over your man card.

Good point. I eat my steaks rare though. So that should earn me back some man card points.

BTW, that ranch dressing is really good on almost anything.

My stance on A1 on steak is simply: if I need A1 on a steak, the steak isn't worth eating.

I will say that I do like A1 on burgers and with fries.

You're right, but the thinking is a well prepared steak is best with zero or minimal accompaniments. A $10 strip steak no one cares about - but when you're talking a cut of Kobe beef or filet mignon, we're not talking about just 'food' anymore. It's the difference (for some) between mixing a Jack and Coke versus a Van Winkle and Coke - one is totally unnecessary. Might as well eat a hamburger, you know?

I know I'm in the minority, but I'll take a burger over a steak any day. Particularly with a fried egg (must be runny yolk) on top.

It's okay if he puts ketchup on steak because him kicking the Steelers rear end at Heinz Field shows he still puts football ahead of ketchup.

I get the thought process, but if someone likes a good cut of beef, but they like it better with ketchup, who cares? It’s their taste preference and they’re paying for it.

You'd be surprised how big a thing food snobbery is in some place. Where I live people that don't buy organic food are looked down on.

I agree about Mahomes, who cares what he eats, he's not hurting anybody.

I think the article is just being humorous. Dont think anyone really cares what people put on their food.

If you put ketchup on meat, you're a child, plain and simple.

A grown man who eats chicken fingers or chicken nuggets with ketchup and or steak for this matter, needs to grow up :p

There are so many better condiments.

I know someone who agrees with you....

When President Donald Trump sits down for dinner in Saudi Arabia, caterers have ensured that his favourite meal — steak with ketchup on the side — will be offered alongside traditional local cuisine.
