I came across these Penn State student tickets in a box. Check out the crazy seat numbers.

I remember as a student at main campus I got a student season ticket card that was hole-punched for each game so I'm guessing these were from when I was at a branch campus.

With those seat numbers, general admission student seating?

I had the punch card too. You second stub marked “date” were sold x # of them for each game. Date ticket holder could accompany a student holding a student ticket. In those days freshmen (yes we once had students identified as freshmen) were in the end zone and student seating wrapped around the east side by class standing. Seniors/grads ended up with pretty good seats…can’t remember but thinking up to about the 30 yard line. So the date tickets were sold first come, first served prior to fall classes beginning. With 3 younger siblings, we trekked to PSU each August early AM and waited in line to buy date tickets. I’m guessing I sat in the student section for a dozen years. I use to just mingle in the crowd in the Senior section with my date ticket and tell the ticket taker I was with the student that just went through ahead of me I had great seats cheap for a long time.
