Eh, whatever. Everyone questioned the WR room for the better part of two years, and I pointed out months ago that we had a decent line, strong RB room, and a solid TE, and that the new coordinator would be smart to gameplan to those strengths. Whatever it takes to win is all that matters in the end.Our WRs have not caught a TD pass since Kent State. No TD catches in B10 play. I am hopeful we see a pulse out of them the last 4 games but not holding my breath.
Not sure how Hagans survives past this season.
We used to have a legit #1 guy who could get open and spread the field. Allen Robinson, Godwin, Desean Hamilton, Hamler, Dotson, Parker Washington. Last couple of years nothing. Has to be coaching related. Can't believe all these recruits who seemed to have solid potential are this ineffective.Eh, whatever. With that said, a more well-rounded offense would obviously be preferable, especially against more athletic opponents. Our passing game was rarely prolific in the past, save for Collins, which is why the vast majority of our QB records are held by guys who played for O'Brien or Franklin.
And I agree that there has to be someone who can coach WRs better.
