You've done good for me; which is to say you secured me VA benefits when I was entitled to them. But with a 'yes' vote Wednesday it will be your last trip on the taxpayers' dime. I will caucus against you in the primary and, should it fail, against you in the general election.
The legislature doesn't get to arbitrarily remove from office the person residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. We do. We do because ours is not a parliamentary system. So when the Speaker claims they are "defending of The Constitution" she couldn't be more wrong. As reinforcement, she and her caucus will experience 'checks and balances' first hand. This isn't student council president we're talking about, and the issue on ballot isn't recess.
So vote your conscience. We are watching. Just know it takes courage not be bullied by 'group think'. This guy knew. Let his legacy be your guidepost.
