Peyton sold himself out years ago.. If he owns two Budweiser distributers, that makes it even more intentional. Good for him. Still pretty dorky though. He must talk about his sponsors in every interview he does.

Just preparing himself for an eventual political run. Switch sponsors for lobbyists.

Agree...but this wasn't a sactioned NFL endorsement, which the NFL strictly enforces. If that doesn't tell you what Peyton's future is as an NFL player, nothing will. His placement of papa john and budweiser was his well of telling the NFL to screw off.

I do. I lost a bit of respect for him for doing that. Sure, the players got paid for the "I am going to Disney World" thing, but it was sort of tongue and cheek. Peyton acted like he really meant it. He is standing on the stage with his children, talking about what was probably the last game he will ever play, and he is talking about "drinking a lot of beer" and plugging Budweiser. Peyton seems like a nice, genuine guy, but that was a lame thing to do.

I don't begrudge him getting paid for this, as it's no different than the old "I'm going to Disneyland" quotes that were popular a while back.

Lots of fine, upstanding citizens drink beer. It's not something to be ashamed about. If he had said he was going to get drunk, or go to the strip club (like the MVP), then that may have been worthy of admonishment. For me, I can give Peyton a pass for saying "Budweiser".

Weird I had this urge to buy Bud by the time I got to the distributer it was all gone. I've never heard the term go drink some buds before.... They should name this the conspiracy board. Lol
