I know we want Nick Cross as a safety commit, but we might have room depending how our final targets work out.

He'll come to PSU because it's a more prestigious destination. I want him to commit just to bust Nardouche's balls.

He's not going to get a committable offer. Dude is slow. This staff doesn't like slow.

Didn't he run back an incredible number of punt and KO returns for touchdowns? If so, he can't be that slow....

And at this point, with all the attrition, CJF will have to bring in the best available players to maximize the incoming class numbers and build back depth.

The team needs the numbers to keep top competition in practice.

And go through the same shit 2-3 years down the road.

Or the late additions could be our next All B10 players. Devonshire likely is higher rated than Oruwariye who is heading to the NFL, possibly in Round 1.

If the current rules stay in effect PSU will go through varying degrees of this "shit" EVERY year..........

Don't hold your breath. I'm sure similar things were said of those in the Departure Lane.

Thought I read he ran a 4.9 for our guys at one point.

Must have run faster than that to get an oh-high-ya offer..... whether or not he is a take now for oh-high-ya.

And if CJF is now interested in him he must have improved his stock some how.

Isn't that how Alabama does it? Get rid of 8-10 scholarship players every year so they can recruit full classes every year.

Yep, and they are doing it this year as well. But I believe Alabama waits to inspire some of the attrition until after Spring practice concludes so that they have a better idea of what players they need CJF seems to be breaking in to this methodology slower which is why he only pushed to get the 18 early signing period recruits. Where as Alabama has 28. If CJF had known maybe he would have 28 as well...
