Imagine being disappointed in a 9-3 record three months ago!

Who among us wouldn't have been thrilled to go 9-3 late in the summer? Now with the season drawing to a close, who wouldn't be disappointed if we lost one of the final three games? I would have been very happy in August if I was assured of 9 wins. Now I would be bummed if wind up losing one of the remaining three games! Anyone else feel this way?

Yep. And it's a testament to this coaching staff. And admittedly, something I also would not have been so sure I'd be saying at this time.

I am taking the perspective that the program has progressed beyond expectations for this year. Not everything can be measured with W's. Of course, we all want 10 wins and a premier bowl win. I am enjoying the fact that PSU football is relevant again, capable of victories vs ranked teams and seemingly doing it with respect to the values that made PSU Football special for me.
It's unrealistic to believe that the team may not stumble (A&M lost to Miss) anything is possible. A loss would not undo all the joy this season has given me.
The future is bright as this program emerges from unprecedented and undeserved sanctions. Let's hope recruiting continues to prosper and this magnificent coaching staff can stay in Happy Valley.

Almost got to feel that disappointment. So close, but a win is a win is a win! Tough times for the offensive line is making this feel like earlier in the season, when things were not looking so good, and the defense was wracked by injuries. Rutgers should go down without difficulty, but MI State's bowl game is their game with us. That should prove a tough test too. Would love to get to 10-2! Would love for OSU to beat Hardpaw too!!

Better yet, imagine after the Michigan game imagining that PSU would go 10-2 and play Wisconsin in the B1G championship game, with the Rose Bowl served up on a silver platter after that...?

Not to worry, the Shizholian cheaters will do everything they can to rob us blind in one of these last two games.....

With current OL situation, any and all wins from here on out will be appreciatef.

If you had told me in August we'd have 8 total wins this season, I would have been thrilled. The fact that we already have 8 wins with 2 winnable games left and are in the conversation for a Big Ten championship appearance and even a playoff possibility is beyond my wildest expectations. I'm just going to enjoy it.

(Who am I kidding, I'll be a nervous wreck during these next 2 games.)
