Why would you worry? Clearly salt is a mineral, pepper a spice, so why would you worry about seasonings??? LOL

I guess some people never learn, I thought maybe you would have learned something from "I have proof Fran had to know as far back as 1970....."

Thought of you last night while watching a short on the food network. They spread butter out on wax paper and then put some Worcestershire on it, rolled it up and froze it. They put the steak as-is on the grill for a specified amount of time, no salt or pepper, no seasoned salt (which by your definition is just salt with more salt and pepper added). They sliced the butter in to patties and used it to season the cooked steak. Sounded like a nice recipe for a "seasoned steak", and per usual, while you can season a steak with damn near anything including salt and pepper, a "seasoned steak" is not just a steak salt and pepper. Just like "seasoned fries" are not just fries with salt and pepper. I've asked people over and over when the situation arises, what do you consider a "seasoned steak". Not one has said "just salt and pepper". End of discussion.

Considering you said it was impossible to find someone that doesn't use salt and pepper to season a steak, there is yet another in a long series of holes in your ever changing argument. But I'm sure you will waste your time trying to misrepresent my argument to prove some non-existent point, to fill some void in your life. But for the sake of the board, I know this is very hard for you, but don't ruin another thread.

I don't know what this was about, but I sure did like it.
