In the stories I've seen posted online, I didn't see any mention of BJC renovation

Was there any specifics revealed? There was some speculation late last week about making the arena feel smaller, maybe by moving closer to one end of the arena and taking out the seating at the other end.

No. This was really focused on Beaver Stadium (the big ticket and interest driver) and the projects to be completed over the next five years. The BJC, I would think, would be a priority after these projects are done. It seemed like there was some discussion of it from a high level perspective at the presser (the new practice facility, for example, would be owned by ICA so we won't have another Bon Jovi issue) but there wasn't anything specific in this version of the Master Plan yet.

I don't know the exact breakdown, but they maybe they should talk about how they will divide up money. Something like for every $1 spent on football, they spend $.50 on basketball and $.50 on all other sports.

What was said was don't expect anything major for at least five years (and my guess would be even longer since it's going to be five years before they start on Beaver Stadium and somehow I don't think they want to do both at the same time). One thing that did come out of this was that they will build a separate practice facility for the basketball team just south of the BJC. Barber did say that there would be minor projects going on at the BJC in the meantime. Any remodeling that is done will be to make it more "intimate".
