I watched the last quarter and a half and WKU’s defense was getting to the QB a lot…they just didn’t have the defensive backs to stay with the receivers. If we can get to Pennix like they did, he’s going to have a long day. Also, WKU had their success on offense through the air (365 yards passing, 93 yards rushing) so I like our chances there.Indiana hasn't impressed this season. I know performances can change from week to week but they didn't look good against WKU and expended a lot of effort an emotion to win at the end. Can they get emotions up against PSU like they did last year? I say no, Penn State by two TDs.
I hope you're right. I'll be happy with any win but I'd feel a lot more confident going forward if it was a convincing win.Indiana hasn't impressed this season. I kind of put Indiana in the same category as Rutgers - a football team with somewhat decent players and coaching but not on the same level as UM, OSU, and PSU. Both Indiana and Rutgers will have a say in who wins the East this year. One of them will have a huge upset in the East this year - neither can be taken lightlyI hope you're right. Indiana played #7 Cincinnati very close so I don't expect a blowout. McFadden is a very good LB that could make running the ball difficult again.
Maryland will also have a say in that. They’re better than both Indiana and Rutgers. The East is a meat grinder and the West keeps getting worse.I kind of put Indiana in the same category as Rutgers - a football team with somewhat decent players and coaching but not on the same level as UM, OSU, and PSU. Agree, forgot all about Maryland. Jesus, the East is going to be bloody this year.Maryland will also have a say in that. They’re better than both Indiana and Rutgers. The East is a meat grinder and the West keeps getting worse.
Our DBs have been very good and aggressive so far this year. One of these days they're going to jump the route for a pick six..... or jump the route and miss, giving up a big play. Can we just cover the GD slant to Fryfogle?!? That’s all Indiana did in every key moment against Western Kentucky.

Seems about right. What say you?

I think someone is going to get a a** beating.
Psu was fortunate to beat them, then unfortunate to lose to them last year. Hopefully this year PSU can leave no doubt. WK clearly found some things that PSU can exploit. It’s almost blasphemy, but I want this game as much as OSU, after that BS last year. Wipe that shit-eating green off Tom Allen’s dentures. I mean, look at those choppers…is that the Indiana coach or Martha Raye?
I kind of agree, last two games against PSU, Hoosiers played amazing. Maybe this year it's a more typical performance (still a dangerous team, for sure).. Meanwhile PSU has last year's painful loss in mind & knows how important it is to put them away and not let it come down to the wire. I also think the PSU LBers and secondary have the personnel this year to defend teams like Indiana and Maryland and probably get some turnovers.IU fan here! Personally, I do not feel comfortable at all with this game. Expecting a bad loss, in my opinion. But who knows what CTA has in store for us in Happy Valley. We had that close game 2 years back too, anyways, good luck Saturday 👍
First Martha Raye mention on the Board in awhile. It’s almost blasphemy, but I want this game as much as OSU, after that BS last year. Wipe that shit-eating green off Tom Allen’s dentures. I mean, look at those choppers…is that the Indiana coach or Martha Raye?

You must have missed this earlier this year.Mis—spell is that the Indica line ?
I disagree that Indiana played amazing against Penn State last year, they looked terrible for most of the game and were completely controlled by our defense until the last 3 percent of the gameI kind of agree, last two games against PSU, Hoosiers played amazing. That game was given to them twice. Once when we scored the last touchdown instead of falling down and once when the referees called the last play in bounds.I disagree that Indiana played amazing against Penn State last year, they looked terrible for most of the game and were completely controlled by our defense until the last 3 percent of the game

That ball still hasn’t broken the plane of the goal line. It was however out of bounds short. That game was given to them twice. Once when we scored the last touchdown instead of falling down and once when the referees called the last play in bounds.
