Thank you sir, I haven't had a chance to pick up on other scores and match-ups, some very interesting results.

Cody Law 10-3 over Lewandowski (Gannon), 23-8 6:08 over Voytek (Seton Hill) at 157.
Wes Phipps 3-1 over Sonnenberg (Findlay) at 197.

Preisch beat Casey Kent (Penn) 9-1 Friday.

Is this the most perfect Cruz v. Koll score imaginable?

- 141, Randy Cruz (Lehigh) over William Koll (Cornell), 1-0

I'll bet that was an exciting one, with all kinds of action.
That reminds me of the joke about the Chris Perry - Nick Heflin match: they shook hands and then each immediately backed up toward his bench.

Pfarr keeps getting his hand raised. I thought Studebaker might take him, looks like it was very tight, but Pfarr I am certain grabbed ankles, although who knows maybe he took him down on a shot...

Looks like Massa gave Imar a little trouble, but probably wasn't close to scoring. Thought he had a shot, but i guess not. Imar straight to the television then to twitter after the match...

Am I the only one? I though D Brown was going to have more success at the college level at WVu. I haven't had much chance to see him wrestle. Anyone?

No Weigel for OSU vs. WVU...I was looking forward to seeing an outcome between him and #6 Jake Smith.

Instead, Smith beat Derek White (Nebby transfer, 2nd @ Midlands last season) 2-1.

I was there and might have temporarily stabbed my eyes out during that bout, if you want to call it that. Probably why my report on the Realbuto/Preisch match was flawed.

133: DJ Fehlman (LH) over Mark Grey (Cornell), 3-0

Mark Grey's bizarre parallel with JG continues, although JG's career, however "disappointing", has been better than Grey's, imo. Best Grey did was R12 his freshman year (after grey shirting his first year out of Blair). It's been a steady downhill since then.

JG was the #3 recruit and Grey was the #5 their shared senior year of high school. Grey won 4 National Prep titles while at Blair. So whenever one gets discouraged about Jimmy, one should reflect upon Mark Grey and feel a little better.

On a sidenote, that year saw Iowa's second #1 recruiting class of the decade (after 2010). Gilman, Clark, Brooks, Burak, No. 8 Nate Skonieczny and Alex Meyer. Zero championships, individual or team, for that group.

Meatchicken vs. NW:
- 165 Massa 26-10 6:27 over Sebastian.
- 125 2x AA Youtsey has returned. Shouldn't impact Suriano much but could help us in the team race by impacting Rodriguez and possibly Piccinnini (at least his seed).

Tans vs. Turtles: Tan Tom forfeited 125 today. Backups wrestled for both Jordans (149, 174). Snyder wrestled, TF.

Clarion vs. Sparty: 141 Zacherl 3-1 over Gasca.

Missouri vs. Central Michigan: 149 Mayes 11-4 over Oliver.

Cornell vs. Lock Haven: 285 Haines WBF 3:37 over Sweany.

Hey Tom, for a fan like me who can't follow much more than the Nits, I really appreciate including the schools the kids represent when posting the results.

appreciate the note. I put the schools in as I imagine there are many out there that recognize some of the names, but don't always remember who they are, what college they attend, etc.

Especially if the point scored was via RT-adv Cruz...... Probably had to blow the PA System Horn to wake everyone up after that snooze-fest!

Couldn't have been, without haven't seen it seems like it went like this:

First Period: no takedowns
Second Period: Koll takes down, gets ridden out
Third Period: Cruz ridden for over a minute, escapes, wins

Which sounds like a violation of Geneva Conventions
