Iowa is garbage

Did something happen or is this just a generic Iowa is garbage thread? (I’m fine either way- just didn’t know if I missed some news

Their wrestling team is certainly not garbage - they are very good but Penn State appears to be just a little bit better. The Brands brothers keep things interesting. As for their fans, sure some are over the top but that's true of just about any school.
I agree that Iowa’s wrestling is very good and very elite. But PSU wresting is better period. Not just a little bit. The results the past 10 years speak to this.
Penn State wrestling is a lot better than the Iowa circus. The Brands brothers should be in a mental institution.
Iowa wrestling is great to have as little brother. The brands boys are entertaining, their fans are jealous, and it keeps us sharp as a program. Overall, it’s a great thing to have another top tier program that just can’t beat #1.
Never read their wrestling board. Even their big booster on there - who is paying for their new arena - makes Sandusky and Ped State jokes.
Meanwhile, the dude runs one of the bigger Slumlord property management companies in the country.
Well, I certainly wouldn't want to live in IA, but I could say that of many other states as well. I will give the Brand coaches one plaudit though, reeling in Spencer Lee was a hell of a coup. Can you imagine if he had joined the PSU program? I mean no other school would have been even close in the last couple of years. Losing him will always sting a little.
Quack! He ducked a return trip to Penn State. There was a two year period where we weren't scheduled to wrestle Iowa. We went there the first year, Iowa refused to return the favor.
