Unimpressive for sure. The Gopher nearly had him at the end.
Woods backed up a ton in his match and won 5-2 over Vance Vombauer. Vombauer had the upper hand in a long scramble at the end but wasn’t very close to a TD.
Last year hawks were demoted to what Cael called a good dual to show us what we need to work on. This year they look like a good spot for a training through meet

I think Woods has been in Iowa City long enough now to have regressed. Expect a different result this season.
