Is Crookham out for the season?

My understanding is people close to him aren't sure they want him coming back but the staff is hopeful he does. They wrestle Friday and if Crookham doesn't wrestle and they send out Lopes that would burn Lopes RS. So maybe Friday we get an indication
I think according to Lehigh coaches " he's down in the room right now. According to his family he's out for the year.
TBD and obviously the smart move would be to just take a medical and be 100%.
But one reason I can see Crookham returning this year is I think his long-term goals is not related to wrestling (wants to be a Physician, very smart kid) and he might not want to be in college a 6th year.

He can certainly just forfeit a year of eligibility if he wants to. No one is forcing him to wrestle a 6th year if he has plans. Now if someone offers him a bag of money to wrestle a 6th year then so be it

Ayala has 1 more year. But Crookham would be an interesting pick up from Iowa in the future. No doubt Bob can get his #. Maybe he will take a medical this year so he can earn more NIL down the road. Smart kid they say so who knows 🤣🤣🤷. I'm kidding obviously but good idea you had
Lehigh star Ryan Crookham (133 lbs) will miss the rest of the season after suffering a broken elbow.
Broken elbows are tricky, I hope he has a full recovery but their is a long rehab and if Tommy John is needed it's could be a while.
It will be interesting to see who Lehigh weights in at 133 on Friday. Burn Lopes shirt? or Mason Ziegler ? or Crookham?
