247's biggest advantage is they provide great content and actually moderate the site. They don't allow the pnnylions of the world trash the site with nonsense daily and keep it on topic. Even on the pay site here they have had people like mk, spyker, and some others hijack a site for months at a time. 247 puts them in timeout once or twice and then gets rid of them. Ryan and Fitz are the two best guys when it comes to recruiting by far. FOS had some insiders, but it became one big competition to see who the biggest insider it was and it was the most juvenile thing ever...honestly it was. Mark did a good job with football content, but the posters there really jumped the shark a LONG time ago.

Yeah, the mods are fantastic there.

Yep...the freaks don't get the airtime there so pnny isn't there. It's refreshing and it's football centered....they don't put up with the BS, nor do the posters. I guess because he got banned so many times from BWI and Scout he thinks everyone did. Then again accuracy isn't the delusional fools strongest trait.

Actually went to a little happy hour get together with Cory Giger (I think it was him - did he work for FOS?) and some other FOS posters in Arlington, VA one day. Nice, fun chat before the whole JS stuff hit. There were some good posters there who used to post a lot here (Howard Stern and others) but at the time I hated topic view (and still do) and got tired of all the 'insiders'. 247 is maybe the only recruiting site worth paying for if you're gonna pay for it, but the 'OT' chatter there is dull and the 'like/dislike - user rating system' they have is juvenile.
