Hard to say if Day is a better coach….let’s send him to Vandy and see what he can do, then we’ll be able to judge him. He, like Riley, stepped into a really great situation. None of them stepped into the sh!tshow Franklin stepped into.

The guy making $5 million less ran his record to 8-1 almost 10 years ago to the day. Just saying!

And if we were 8-1 right now with a 14-10 win over Temple, a 16-10 win over Indiana, a 13-3 win over Iowa, a 34-24 win over NW, a 23-18 win over Purdue, and a 10-7 win over Illinois (all of them unranked) and the only two larger margins of victory were against Indiana State and Eastern Michigan…we’d be having the same discussions about Franklin being a failure as we are now. Selective memory strikes again.
