Is Kerkvliet eligible if Cassar cant go this season?

Caesar will be ok, just being cautious. Not wrestling kerk so let's get everyone who qualified on the plane tomorrow .Nick still alive he will need a later flight.

Any word on Cassar? We just got home from Ft Worth & Cassar’s injury looked bad by the way he left the floor. Looked like a broken wrist but hope it was a bad muscle pull or ligament strain. But I thought it looked like a season ended... I am starting my panic early...

Fellas, we're likely just going to have to roll with uncertainty the rest of the way. Until we see Cassar announce he is done, or we see him out on the mat destroying guys with doubles, we should expect the usual black box on an injured wrestler's status.

Hoping for the best.

Cassar will have the "if it was nationals he'd be wrestling" status for a while. We'll never know so no need to worry, just pray for the best.

Just rewatched to make sure and it was his shoulder for sure. I have no idea the severity but you’ve seen your guys from the past with shoulder injuries they same way I’ve seen Hawks in the past and it usually doesn’t end well. Also, at HWT it has to be even more of an issue. I hope I’m wrong. I really enjoyed watching him wrestle.

I punched Cassar's symptoms into WebMD. It doesn't look good. :(

Too early, time will tell … re. the subject being discussed.
Just wanted to clarify—being discussed later in the thread, or OP’s question? Seems the latter shouldn’t be time sensitive, and is most likely a “no,” but if you’re saying there’s a chance, that’s interesting.

If Anthony’s season is done (I get it, you’re probably taking about that question), I’m thrilled we have Seth in the wings—it even helps with the Kerkvliet log jam.

1:24 Mark. A bit distasteful to smerk when he said that, but this may or may not be a more accurate interpretation of what happened beings that he was there on the mat with him. Hopefully it was just a subluxation without much or any tissue damage. Anthony is as resilient as they come so he has that on his side, I wish him all the best.

For a guy that is a college assistant, really pathetic to see his pleasure in injuring another competitor...classless at best

Looks like a stinger, could be bad or a couple of days depending on the severity.

Stinger? No way, you can see it was seperated. Let's just hope it's a simple pop it back in and the ligaments we're only strained, then a few weeks rest should be enough. Any tears and .... I don't even want to think about it.

I have heard that with repeated separations/dislocations a repeat gets easier each time it happens - any truth to that from anyone with a medical background? Well, in any case we have the best miracle worker trainer in the country.

Bradley seems to just lack the self awareness or tact to understand that his words after the match and in this interview aren't really cool.

My wife has it and your right it's easier to pop out. Easier to pop back in as well.

I’ve had 10 of them to my left shoulder. First 5 while wrestling. Next five life related. 2 my sr. yr. of high school. 3 more freshman yr of college. Each one came out and went back in easier than the first. The thing is that after the first one there are certain positions that make you more vulnerable to a repeat. Unfortunately wrestling puts you in those positions repeatedly, particularly on offense. I thought I could modify my wrestling to protect it but at the end even a hard whizzer resulted in a medical forfeit.

First one for me was junior year in h.s. football game. Since then Ive had way too many to count and still happens to this day. I'm a bit different in that for me there are no specific positions and just pops out when I least expect it. Hell, I shot a basketball one time and it popped out.

I will say this too, I never feel any pain anymore....its just feels weird is all.

Cool party trick.

Nick Gravina had this issue and wrestled with it a long time. Eventually it became too much.
