It's just amazing how full of "fail" one person can be
I find it impossible not to ask: Why would Fries playing well make your taint itch? Or were you just doing a stream of consciousness thing there? Either way, I had to laugh.

Well, Fries' play doesn't make my taint itch, that's for sure.
It was a stream of consciousness. It appears as if Gunnie is off his meds, or out of the asylum.

I get that, but it means you have to game plan for Gary. No big deal. Run the other way. Let him come and toss a screen pass over his head. Let's see if he can beat Saquon to the edge. I'm betting he can't.

Could also just selectively not block him. Read him. Options, shovel passes, etc. Have motioning wr's crack down. Play the edge game. I don't care how good of a prospect he is. That stuff is even part of most NFL playbooks nowadays.
He hurt his arm/shoulder/chest in the last quarter vs Indiana. You could see on TV that he was holding his arm across his waist and not moving it.
If anyone watched the IU vs UM game they would've seen Gary go down late, clutching his right (I think) elbow/arm, and as a result, he missed a few snaps. He was also pretty gassed, I think IU did a pretty good job of wearing down UM's dline as best they could. I don't think it's much of a stretch to say he's banged up.
But who started the BW game...we know Franklin never deviates from that. Just say it 100 times with authority and you'll start to believe it. Then maybe get a new handle and offer to fight people....so much win. You would hope guns realizes by now that this staff is flexible and looks at everything...willing to adjust on the fly or whenever.

By definition, no...
They have two more like Gary. With them in press man most of the time, I think trying to run off the corners and get some of our athletes to the edge is a good strategy.
it would be nice if they are in press man all the time. I'd take the the WR's and run them back inside, pick the LBers, swing SB out wide (as his M/M guy will be picked off), bring the OG OC out to block who ever is left.
This is part of the game plan. Another part of this game plan, will be to run them ragged. Lots of misdirection, lots of tempo, and get as many offensive snaps as you can. While they have talent, they are very, very thin.

This might be the game where we ask Say Say to stay in and block on most of our passes. Not kidding.
