Frustration. Criticism is fine. I meant to condemn criticism that uses profanity or attacks character. Throughout all the frustrations following the Lions, I remain a faithful fan. I will be at 2 games every year.
Many in Lion country, players and fans, had a bad day. We were not at our best.

We are all frustrated. Bad mouthing your 5 star QB is not going to attract the next one. They played very badly on offense but still were in position to win until the failed 4th down. Most teams have at least one lousy game.

Many players are now paid. Making them essentially semi pro. No longer amateur athletes. I wouldn't criticize amateurs but once they're paid, fair game in my book.

The one thing the boards needs to cut back on is all the name calling and questioning of loyalties, etc when someone says something we disagree with. It’s all too often an insult fest with all guns blazing. It’s a real problem in the country now.

I have no problem with people discussing and criticizing players performances, (especially as many are now paid). That said, there’s a more civil way to do it than saying ‘X’ sucks or is worthless.

I hope the fans at the Beav next week take a page from the Phillies fans in how they treated Trea Turner when he was in a bad slump causing a loss. Long and loud standing O for pregame warmups.

Well said. It is the tone not the criticism. In regard to Steen, I was civil but wrong. My frustration was why the best team in the NCAA could not attract someone with more strength. I suspect that the kid has to lose too much muscle mass to qualify. I am sure he does his best.
My point remains. I back the Lions.

It's really disgraceful how some fans act after a loss. I'm sure they played as hard as they could, and feel worse than anyone reading this board. I never went to college but been a Penn State fan since the Booker Moore day's, I couldn't watch the game for fear of getting all worked up lol. I did tape it incase they won, but I deleted it when I seen they lost.
Go ahead and attack Franklin, but NOT the player's !
