PPB, what are your plans this summer? We are headed back to TCI for Patty's 60th in early July. In late July heading to the national parks in California: Yosemite, Kings Canyon, Sequoia and Tahoe.

Your trip to CA to see the 4 big National Parks is impressive. You two will have a great time....don't underestimate how crowded the parks get during the summer, but I know that you're a great travel planner and already know, and have accounted, for this.

No vrbo this time. The resorts are getting tough against those who privately rent through vrbo, flipkey, homeaway, etc. They want those units in their rental pool which is understandable. Some resorts like the Alexandra are not even allowing vrbo guests to use the pool loungers or beach towels. We are staying at Ocean Club (not OCWest as in prior trips). Summer rates are much more reasonable.

We will definitely get back to Telluride some day, great place for you to spend the summer. Went to Yosemite 10 years ago and look forward to returning. Booked the brand new Stone Creek Lodge for 3 nights. Never been to Sequoia and Kings Canyon. Tahoe is always a lot of fun.
