My last match was almost 30 years ago at age 38. Ripped a pec muscle in a fairly innocuous position. You won't be seeing me on the mat again. At least I was winning when it happened. Lol.

How old is old. Man I would love one more shot on the mat, but I was born within days of Tom Cruise and even though I work out regularly, I can't imagine getting cranked over with an arm bar and surviving without all the flexibility provided by a teenage body.

I'll be honest, it would be funny and probably entertaining. Not sure how much interest it would draw but people who regularly visit the boards it would be a must see. I'd like to see the wrestling be legit but the pre match interviews I'd like it be more like the WWE with lots of insults and shenanigans going on. Lol

Too often in our increasingly soft wrestling world I hear about how allowing youth wrestlers to wear shorts and a compression shirt instead of the traditional singlet would help grow the sport. That doing this would help these snowflakes in middle school overcome their fear of performing with their genitals in full view of their friends, family, and strangers. Well guess what? Maybe it’s not such a good idea to grow the sport if it means attracting cowards, weaklings, and degenerates who don’t have the guts to participate in our sport’s traditions. When I was a teenager me and my brothers and and Dads/cousins (from the other side of the family) would all go down in the basement and wrestle without clothes and without a care in the world. Wearing a singlet was a luxury compared to those basement scraps, but it taught me everything I know about perseverance and overcoming adversity. Singlets are the way wrestlers face their demons, by presenting themselves to the public and never taking “no” for an answer. It’s not popular in today’s politically correct climate but the fact is if you can’t wear a singlet you were never man enough to wrestle anyway.thefanswin

I hurt my knee last week moving a damn garden hose. I don't think the old bones could handle the prematch handshake very well these days. Age 60 was the end of my even rolling around days. I would pay to watch you boys roll.
