Now 6 in a row. Too early to think 59? Only needs to go 6 under on the next 12.

Who would have thought at the end of the day he’d end up closer to a 79 than a 59!!
I made 5 birdies to start my round at Dye Preserve once back in the day. #6 was a par 5 that I always hit 3 wood off the tee (there was a ranch OB left) because I rarely got home in 2. That day I just said eff it and hit driver. Out of bounds of course. I kept it under for the day but barely.

That was a pretty ugly meltdown at the end of the round. When I left him at 13, he had just taken an unplayable off the tee and then blasted the 3rd shot to 2 1/2 feet for birdie to go -12. About an hour later, I look at my app and I'm like, 'where's JT?'. Bogey 14, triple 15, double 16....eeesh.

Only 215,000 roaming the course today. Certainly made for some interesting people watching as well as much difficulty maneuvering a golf cart through it. Patience was a big key.

A double Beaver Stadium crowd.....that’s one hell of a turnout. Maybe half of them were even there to watch the golf!
