Now the same guy is reporting that Teacher has NOT committed to PSU. This HWT recruiting saga has been beyond exhausting.

The tweet Lowe linked is pretty embarrassing for him -- almost as bad as "call my dad":

Strange.. I was just coming here to post about how I haven't been able to get any responses from Teacher or his school, or really any feedback of any kind since it was first posted here.

I'm going to go Old School here (but sometimes Old School is the 100% correct approach) and suggest that many of today's "journalists" who were born about or just before the time Led Zep broke up hop in a time machine back to the 50s, buy a newsman a few drinks and get schooled on how to report news factually - start with who, what, where, why and when.

Imagine today's news media on December 7, 1941 rushing to report that Japan had conquered Hawaii.

Many of them treat breaking a story like Will Ferrell's character in Talledega Nights treated racing - if you ain't first, you're last!

Accuracy has lost the war with speed of dissemination.

Alright, now that I got that off my chest - "Get off my lawn!"

Not that the Old School Journalists were all that great ... wait, Dewey didn't beat Truman? Just romanticized, and maybe with better PR.

Skepticism has always been healthy.

Apologies to those like Tim who are professional, bust it, double- and triple-check their sources, and get it right. They still exist.
