He impressed me as much as anyone today, including Cassar. He basically wrestled Zain to a decision that Zain turned into a major in garbage time. And was never turned.I really think deakin is going to be a tough out. it would not be shocking to me if he shook up the rankings at midlands. guy is huge, has a motor, strong, etc.
It's not a deep tournament, sure, but the murderer's row guys inflict similar damage in March. Just insane numbers today. 17-0, 13 Falls, 3 TFs, 1 MD, 0 DECs. Total time on mat, 54:55 minutes, average time on mat 3:14.

By "shake up the rankings at Midlands" you mean beat Sorensen? Kolodzik? Oliver?I really think deakin is going to be a tough out. it would not be shocking to me if he shook up the rankings at midlands. guy is huge, has a motor, strong, etc.
By "shake up the rankings at Midlands" you mean beat Sorensen? Kolodzik? Oliver?
Because those are the only 3 guys ranked above him going. (Plus probably Lugo.) And I'm not sure finishing 3rd really shakes up the weight much.
I haven't heard or seen anything yetAny idea who took OW Tim? Maybe one isn't given out at the Keystone?
Great Tournament impressed with Deakin! He is ginormous for 149, shout out to Dom Gianghelli and Luke Gardner both placed 7th.
Did we ever hear why VJ didn't wrestle today?
Cenzo had a sore shoulder. Keener injured his thumb.
sorry, i was being a clown drifting back to a comment a few pages ago. Im not always good with theI was sitting near him so I asked him what was wrong said he injured his thumb in first period of quarterfinal!
So it was precautionary. Hurt his thumb but decided on the full body wrap... Ya know..... as a precaution.how could you tell this through all the wrap?
nolf took top to let him up.....tooooooooooo funny
Or he gets bored with his dominance, and just likes to try things?Nolf was playing with his food again. Psychological warfare on his part?

Nolf was playing with his food again. Psychological warfare on his part?
In the final When he was in a scramble, sort of under and not in great position..he hooked his arm over the top of his opponents thigh and grabbed the near side of the calf....and when roiled thru precariously ....he suddenly ended up on top. I was like........wut?Even ends with a "beet" (read as a beat).
I have a request. Please don’t post results from other events in the middle of these threads. They are spoilers.

Any idea what mat it was on?In case you missed it, Pletcher beat Carton.
My recollection was that it was Mat 3.Any idea what mat it was on?
Would say the same thing myself if I didn't already say it a few years ago.Feels like once in a lifetime to be able to witness this crew.
I think there's a chance Nolf could have a year for the record books -in terms of bonus %.Would say the same thing myself if I didn't already say it a few years ago.
Wonder why the finals videos aren't posted yet, wasn't able to watch them live.
Couple comments on Keystone:Would say the same thing myself if I didn't already say it a few years ago.
Well I am not sure how long it will take considering this:That's my question as well. All others rounds were posted fairly quickly throughout the day so you didn't need to be watching completely live but then unless you watched the finals live, you're out of luck.
Geez, there is no "winning" or "losing" here. It was a discussion among fans...that's all, nothing more.So it was precautionary. Hurt his thumb but decided on the full body wrap... Ya know..... as a precaution.
So Roar gets the win on that argument..
I think he needs to go 100% to break the PSU record for bonus % - I believe he can do it (he may be able to have one non-bonus, can't remember)I think there's a chance Nolf could have a year for the record books -in terms of bonus %.
outstanding parenting! Hope I get to see you at the Md match! Some thoughts/highlights from the arena:
- Spend all day with my 6yo (six and a HALF daddy), great arena for that. Plenty of space, lots of stuff to read on the walls, good junk food selection. We had some great Drexel/PSU/misc fans in and out of "our" section and they were all very nice.
- Her mind was blown by everyone rolling around in the warm-ups. When she was winding down in one of the consolation rounds and I said we could come later next year, she got indignant about missing that part.
- Coach moment 1: Early on after one of Nevills' matches, Coach Varner had a discussion with the ref. I have no idea of the question, nothing in-match would have prompted it that I noticed, but Varner was not thrilled with the answer. There was an *exaggerated* eye roll/turn-around-walk away that cracked me up.
- Coach moment 2: Towards the end of regulation/early in OT in one of Brian Friery's consolation matches he got poked in the eye. Coach Cody stormed out on the the mat with a "oh give me a break you are fine get back out there and win". And he did!
- Coach moment 3: At the end of the first in the Cassar-Cutch match, Coach Cael and Coach Casey had a very, very brief eye contact/shrug/back to the match look from their opposing corners
- My non-wrestling highlight: At one point Nickal (MAN is he distinctive in a setting like this) was strolling around the border of the arena, not really paying attention to anything, and walked directly into a folding chair. He did the quick "nobody saw that" look-around, realized at least 4 people around him did, and starting laughing his head off. Great moment to remind me these kids are human (except Nolf, pure machine)
- Finally: We took the train up from Maryland to avoid the marathon and knew we were going to have to duck out early from the finals. During the 165 I told my daughter we'd get to watch most of "Baby Marky" but would probably miss Bo. She was clearly upset since that is her brother's favorite wrestling and she was looking forward to telling him about it. She's a trooper though, nodded and started cheering.
The look on her face when Hall threw the guy to his back that early and she realized she was going to get to watch Bo after all was priceless!
We had a great time, spent 11 straight hours in the arena, and she still hasn't stopped talking about it. She was very excited for some "what did you do this weekend" writing prompts at school today. "I'm going to need 5 whole pages!"

DT holds the record for his 2014 campaign, having won 32 of 34 matches by bonus (94.1%). So he can probably "drop" (LOL) one, but not two.I think he needs to go 100% to break the PSU record for bonus % - I believe he can do it (he may be able to have one non-bonus, can't remember)

Well I am not sure how long it will take considering this:
They were looking for a camera operator 2 hours after the event started. I will say that the coverage was decent but went to dinner expecting to come home and watch the finals on demand and 12 hours later I am still waiting. I really want to like f lo but everytime I start feeling good about my subscription something happens (dual of the year last season, these finals, and the Roku app is for the most part useless unless watching something live).
