Larry Johnson homecoming

Wish Coach Johnson all the best. I enjoyed his time here and fully support any of his future endeavors.

Do you have a family to support? To feed? To make sure they are warm and sheltered? The joke is anyone who would put anything materialistic between themselves and their family. If it is, you need to rearrange your priorities in life. No matter what level or amount, nothing should come before family. Nothing.

Well, I'm willing to bet that "LJ's" family is living the good life, much better than most hard working Americans that's for sure!

LJ, Sr is a class act and a great defensive line coach. Do I wish that he was still at PSU - damn straight. That ship has sailed but I still respect the man, the coach.

College coaches, not just football have a nomad's life. They need to move for exposure and to grow, both as coaches and for the simple fact that movement enables others to enter the profession. This fresh blood is a good thing. I'm also certain that movement is driven by the need to better support a family.

I wonder how Larry Johnson liked his homecoming surprise this year?

I thought about him much of the game. Love the guy and his whole family.

Spencer is doing an awesome job, but so did LJ Sr. Hated to see LJ go. Guy is a great DL coach. He was the only person Saturday night I felt sorry for on that Ohio State sideline.

Still wish he was at Penn State in some capacity, but wish him nothing but the best of luck at Ohio State.

Really? Have you talked to Deion Barnes family after he convinced him he would make it in the NFL? Talk to them about "harsh" and get back to me.
No, I have not spoken to Barnes or his family. That said, it is their decision to make, not Johnson's. They took bad advice.

HE GAVE THEM THAT ADVICE.

Because it gave his team a competitive advantage without Barnes playing on the other side of his team.
