I saw the name Ephraim Banda, Cleveland browns safties coach as a possibility. Strong ties to Manny Diaz
I heard, I think, he had an interview or wA a favorite with the Colts for their DC job. I'd take that gamble on him in a second.

D'Anton Lynn is my top choice.
Okay, but if he leaves USC, that would mean that he would be on his third job in three seasons, which would be a red flag to me. PSU has had way too many coordinators under Franklin; these coaching positions need some stability.

It’s the Indiana DC
No thanks.
Is Knowles being aged out at OSU; why would he leave that program?
I don't think he's being aged out. Word out here in Ohio earlier in the year was Knowles & LJ were at odds and Day sided with Knowles way to utilize/rotate defensive linemen. It showed up in their improved defense down the stretch. Perhaps LJ, Sr retires after the CFP title game.

That would make sense for LJ..of course the immediate worry would be..would Ohio State then go after Deion Barnes ?

So why would Knowles leave or Day want him to leave?

Fair enough but I'm betting USC is his best paying job to date. Nothing wrong with being upward mobile. Hopefully Franklin will want him.
