Let me be clear here - I wasn't trying to put Redd down at all and I still would have LOVED to have the kid at PSU! I just prefer the post match reactions of Joe over Redd and the Lee's personality's seem to mesh well with our team.

I must have missed where this information was confirmed. Where was it documented again?
Well 2 guys from Pa went to Iowa that i know very well informed me. Trust me i have been a Coach and Fan of wrestling for over 30 years and have talked to thousands of College wrestlers. Not trying to be smart or anything. Just telling you facts from the wrestlers themselves. Heck look at an Iowa group pic and tell me they look happy.
So Bubba Jenkins didn't have many kind words for Cael when he left. Does that mean Cael is a mean person that wrestlers don't like?
Kids that don't succeed or don't fit or whatever aren't going to be complementary of the program they leave. That doesn't mean that everybody else there feels that way ...
Or that their dislike of college wrestling was specifically due to Brands -- that they would've hated college wrestling anywhere. If they exist, which seems to be a pretty big if.
And, no, I don't feel bound to trust someone who says "trust me" less than 24 hrs after irresponsibly floating a reprehensible rumor about another program.
That said, turning this board into a clown factory isn't all that bad. Worse would be discussing these topics with the Lees or any other prospects and families. The best case scenario is being ignored. The worst case is poisoning the well.
If you have gone to the practices and watched the last 3 or 4 years you would know there were some other issues with Bubba that i will not disclose.
...and there's always that "fun" aspect of being in our room.
I can't help but to think what a joy it would be to have Zain ride me like a mule all practice and then lighten things up by wrestling Nolf. Sounds like fun to me!
Lion - Go watch a few practices. They are insane at times. Lots of fun watching those guys go at it.
I think the many issues with Bubba are well known. But who's to say those Iowa wrestlers you know didn't have 'issues' too? The point is that just because a wrestler (or two) are unhappy does not mean a blanket statement about the coach applies.
