I see names are being tossed around out there. The Okie State OC was at Princeton before they hired him last year. Maybe he wants to come back East?
Kevin Daft is the offensive coordinator/quarterback coach at Dartmouth. He has been there two years and has produced incredible offense for them. They average 33.3 points per game, few turnovers, high percentage of pass completions, and a high test running game.
Daft was at UC Davis before joining Dartmouth. He also has experience at California, where he coached wideouts and quarterbacks. Cal was a bowl team when he was there and they had a prolific passing attack.
Daft recruits Texas/Louisiana area and knows the deep south recruiting area. That would be a plus, especially with all the skill kids coming out of there at WR.
Franklin has a thick notebook filled with coaches of achievement. I would not be surprised if Daft is one of them.

Napier may very well be Miss State's head coach at this time next year.
Zero chance he leaves for a coordinator position.
My guess is it will be someone currently on staff.....even CJF possibly taking over the play calling or if from the outside, likely someone we've never heard of.....prompting much wailing and gnashing of teeth.
My prediction it will NOT be a common name speculated on these sites. Look at Frankin's history and he has his won list. Hist list does not necessarily match the "common" list: Morehead, Sieder, Limegrover, Corley, Bowen, Parker..... pretty much every name that Franklin hired while at Penn State was not a "known name", or was a "surprise name".
So my prediction is this. Franklin most likely already has his 2 or 3 favorite candidates already being contacted. Most likely, those are names none of us are expecting.

Seider has been a RB coach all the way. Parker was interim HC briefly at one stop, but has also been a position coach. Maybe they are ambitious, but maybe they're happy where they are. Seider has been quite a recruiting force from what I can tell, so definitely someone to keep happy if CJF can.
I'm sure you're right, but we are ENTITLED to an e-light OC and will run anyone else out of town on a rail
He might be.. but to be a OC at a major P5 > HC at ULL.
If your saying hes a job title chaser then maybe we wouldnt want him. Plenty of HC's back in the OC role. Wilson at OSU comes to mind as an example.
Former OC and HC experience seems to be in order if you want to get over the hump nowdays.
And likely some other schools will offer more. Personally I would be thrilled if CJF somehow snags him.
Not advocating for him but wouldn’t be surprised to see Bush Hamden OC at U Dub with the coaching change out there. Worked with James in the past.
