Paraphrasing, but essentially said we (media) put so much emphasis on the final 4 and NY6 games that it has manipulated our overall perception.
Said being top 15, 20, 25 used to be viewed as an excellent season and still should and fans shouldn't be discouraged by not playing in one of the committee bowls.
I couldn't agree more. Playing in the #7 bowl (Citrus) to possibly get a 10th win and finish top 10 is an awesome year. Replaced 8 defensive starters and 3 best offensive weapons in school history.
