Link: Colin Cowherd talking about Rose Bowl and Best game ever see below

Thanks for posting. That was enjoyable. It's great to hear unanimous media commentary about how great that game was. The accolades are shared between both teams. It's been a long time since Penn State has gotten such raves by the media. Darnold is certainly an excellent QB, and Penn State has its own version of a star behind center. I just wish more was said about Barkley, who had an amazing TD run among other good touches.

Good, and even though I agree with Cowherd on why Penn State was left out of the CFP (unmentioned rule I guess), I have heard CFP committee reps and others talk a lot about criteria for the playoff, and 'humiliating losses' was never mentioned. In fact, they always talked about reasons *to* put a team in a playoff - not reasons to keep a team out. If that were true, PSU should have been in over OSU.

Cowherd is a blowhard who is a 'thumb on the pulse' kind of guy - whatever is popular, he's gonna go with.

I found this quote interesting "There has never been a national champion that lost a game by more than 13 points. Ever."

He's wrong. October 9th, 1982. Alabama 42, Penn State 21. Following that loss we won 7 in a row culminating with the national championship win over Georgia in New Orleans.

Now he did clarify that with "We have never in my adult life, for forty years..." 1982 was 34 years ago, not 40 - so he's still wrong.

It would be hypocritical for me to listen to this, as I regard Cowherd as the dregs of sports radio. What did he say, it was a good game? Who wouldn't say that. He's been tirelessly crapping all over PSU since he started speaking into a microphone.
He said maybe the best game he's ever watched, as well as he loves college football recruiting and next year look out for PSU football because basically everyone is back

What about near loses to crappy teams, specially at end of year (OSU). You think that should count too but I guess not.

He's wrong about one thing: There WAS a national championship team that lost by more than 13 points.

Penn State, in 1982.

Can someone tweet him that Bama PSU score. We looked silly in that game. Love him to spin his story

Coward was and is still one of the worst in regards to Paterno at PSU. Even when Jay had gotten on his show as recently as last year, he talks over him, laughs him off as if Jay is just a fool defending his father.

You want to praise Coward for his kind words on PSU, ask him his views since 2011. Guy is and always will be a Coward. He's doing exactly what he wants, getting fans back from certain parts to like him. Guy is a coward.

Well I thought that was disappointing. Slobbered at USC qb( who had zero pressure in his face the whole game) but zero mention at best RB in college.

I was thinking that same thing, if it was such a transcendent game, why not mention of the best athlete on the field?

I love Barkley and think that he is the best RB in college football... but that USC QB was the best player on the field... as a freshman.

Is that why he was calling for us to get the death penalty- so he could remain incognito?

Agreed Royal. Cowturd was calling for our head 5 years ago. He was one of the loudest and most obnoxious haters. I give him no quarter no matter how much butt kissing he does now or in the future.

Then for God's sake don't. However the hypocritical angle excludes 99% of all print media so it will be a barren wasteland . . .

I listen to Cowherd often. He readily admits his man crushes on Brady, LeBron, Favre.
He's also an admitted USC fan and loved the access given to him when Kiffen & Sark were there.

Nonetheless, that was a good clip although he missed on the PSU MNC from 82.
