Thought I'd pass along this note. Without naming names, one of the College Football Selection Committee members was at my work today. Naturally, I took the opportunity to lobby hard for PSU, should we win the Big Ten Championship Game.
The individual humored me and definitely appreciated my attempt. I used a good blend of stats, facts, humor, and charm, and the individual had a noncommittal and clearly well-rehearsed response.
