Good sources have said PSU....Would be a GREAT pick up....Then we need to go after Spencer Lee really hard....Get both these guys we can go on a 4 year title run with the guys we already have in the room....

The only "good" source in this case is young Mr. Hall himself. We'll know in an hour or so.
The "little birdies" seem to chirping everywhere. I've heard things, but I'll trust it once he signs the NLI.

I missed the presser, so not sure if Hall mentioned this... have heard that another source of Magic (if you will) was a big factor.We shall see shortly if Cael's photoshoped image of Mark in a PSU singlet with text inicating 4x Big Ten Champion, 4 x National Champ worked magic and brought Me Hall to Happy Valley

Mark did say that he had the best chance of winning 4 individual titles and 4 team titles at Penn State.
He also said the moment he got to Penn State, it felt like home.
He said it was a place he could spend the next 10 to 15 years as a wrestler and as a coach.
So yes El-Jefe, the chance for 8 championships was one of the top factors for Mark.

. Congratulations to Cael on landing another top ranked recruit. Rutgers just got a verbal from Mulligan of Bergen Catholic, he was ranked top ten at his weight class. However, there were 2 Wyoming Seminary wrestlers ranked 1 and 3. Any chance at either?
I mean, he made the best choice for his future goals and aspirations. He has top-level training partners and environment. I bet PSU would be glad to give him a RS or Oly RS if he wanted. I'm sure they're 100% cool with him taking a year at the OTC. He probably wants to continue scoring points in every period and winning titles for himself and his team. I'd want to wrestle for Cael, Cody, Casey, & Co, too.

I think you are talking about Reenan and Dietrich. Reenan is committed to Northwestern - although they just lost their head coach a few weeks ago. Still, I haven't seen anything on him reopening his recruitment. Dietrich is a Pitt verbal - don't think PSU was ever involved. They also have Chris Weiler at 170 - he is committed to Lehigh
How does Northwestern keep getting these top ranked recruits; yet, make no noise on the B1G or national scene?
It's already been done. Suriano a while ago and Hall about 5 minutes after his announcement.
I'm beginning to think that Reenan might be going to Northwestern more because of it being a fantastic school than anything else. Since he's committed, Borschel left (the coach around his weight), and Pariano has left. He may have reopened his recruitment but I haven't heard much.
Feeling blessed to have this amazing staff, the world-class facilities, support system, fans, NLWC, etc.. Just incredible. Welcome Mark Hall!!!!
