Matt Millen is doing the game tonight. Begin your bitching early, here.

I would rather stick a red-hot poker up my own ass than acknowledge that Matt Millen ever attended the Pennsylvania State University. He is so stupid, his arrival on campus must have been a mistake that nobody picked up.

And the way that this university is run, I am not surprised.

Well, he was a very very good football player before he became a bad general manager and a terrible announcer.

Joe liked and respected him, even though they had run-ins in practice. In addition, his post scandal op-ed piece, in fact, did NOT throw Joe under the bus, or disrespect the Paterno name.

He has never ever ever stood up and done us right, when he had the opportunity. Never.

This guy doesn't deserve to be used as a piece of Franco's toilet paper. Don't damn him with the faintest of faint praise. We're not idiots, and we'll never forget.

The fact that, as you say, Joe liked and respected him, makes his lack of involvement even worse. If you had a brain, you'd realize that.

They were counting on him to deliver an anti-PSU, scathing piece, and he remained philosophical, without once disparaging the Paterno name.

There ARE other reasons to dislike him if you want: At times, and in my view, too often, he takes the other teams' point of view during his in-game call, he often gets facts and figures wrong, and he can be abrasive, but the narrative that he somehow disrespected the Paterno name is incorrect and if you would like, you can go ahead and consult Jay or Scott on that.

Seriously, lol.

I'm perfectly capable of forming my own opinion. Millen is way, way, way down the list of Joe's players who deserve praise. In fact, he is near the bottom, because he has the pulpit. He has the stage. Nobody thinks of him when it comes to someone who wants to right a wrong. I sure am glad he wasn't a soldier. The rest of his platoon would have been wiped out.

He's laughing at you, all the way to the bank
bump

I can't wait till he says..."A win for Iowa"...."If Iowa can hold PSU to 3 here, it will be a win for Iowa." Or after the refs blatantly screw PSU..."Clearly interference on that one.".....he's an asshat!

You say he is, but he really isn't. If money in the bank is what matters, then no surprise that he turned out the way he has.

Actually, that remark is the most damning thing you could say about him, isn't it?

No. He's won, he's lost, but he has always worked his ass off for what he has received. By the way, the number of posts you've made in this thread shows what a petty, bitter guy you are.

Joe never "laughed all the way to the bank". But then again, such sentiments are probably foreign to you.

Whatever. Maybe Millen will give you his autograph some day. Then you can flip it on Ebay for a nickel or so.

I know Matt since he was a kid. He graduated high school with my brother. He spent time in our house.
Nice move of the goalposts, bringing up Joe, too.

He was home during the bye. Everyone greeted him that way. Sorry it offends you.

I'm not talking about his close friends, I'm talking about the collective college football world. Maybe have a drink and lighten up a bit?
