Nope. It's the little clique: Bob makes funny little faces and emoticons and inside one liners, Barry spews hate on anything related to the BoT, a group of others defends a child molester, A couple old guys act like 4 year olds anytime I post, and then the rest of them gang up on anyone on the face of the earth who sees anything differently.
Plus, they break every board rule whenever they want, because a couple of them are friendly with the mods.
Miller was an excellent player at Penn State and has at least 3 Super bowl championships. People should show him the respect that he deserves
Millen's great! I like him. He calls the game he sees and since he's played more than anyone on this board I respect his comments - even when it's not as eloquent as some of our posters would like.
I like Matt, a lot, no much more than a lot. Very few Lions had the level of tenacity on the grid iron.. He knows more football than his detractors here.
Right on! I admit that Millen is a bad announcer, but the venom in this post is incredible. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but savaging Millen borders on the psychotic. Please save your vehemence for Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Hillary or The Donald. LOL.
Nah. Millen's shown me what I need to know about him, quite convincingly. The fact that he was a good football player is secondary to this discussion.
He was a great football player as a young man. I always thought he sucked as an announcer, even before his days as the worst general manager in the history of sports. At the onset of the scandal, I saw him go on national television with the opportunity to do something courageous. Instead, he cried and hung a "kick me" sign on the man who made him and Penn Staters everywhere. That told me everything I needed to know about him as a man. I can't fathom how he continues to find football work. As far as I can tell, he has sucked at everything since he quit playing. I wish he would go away.
Millen seems to feel the need to way overcompensate for his PSU background when he does PSU games. Like his biggest fear is someday being accused for bias so he goes out of his way to heap praise on the other program's team/coaches. I thought last night that if someone turned this game on and didn't know much about who's who, or things of that nature, they'd have thought there was a guest Iowa alum that was brought into the booth to do some commentary for a few series, because he really did sound like he was rooting for them to get back into the game.
