I'm going with Raiders in the 5th round. Something tells me Jon Gruden noticed a football player when he coached the North Squad in the Senior Bowl. With his 40 time, he is at least a very interesting safety prospect (especially with his QB experience). In addition, he's McMoxie II and I know how much the Raiders fans loved them some McMoxie!!

Daniel Jeremiah (NFL Network draft analyst)......"I know it sounds cheesy but in the end he's a football player and some team will draft him on that fact alone"

And while we're talking about undersized QBs with questionable arm strength...............Rich Gannon anyone???? Yeah, "Chucky's" in Mayock's ear in the 5th round!!!!

Eagles in the first round. Wentz goes down in game 5 and McSorely leads them to a Super Bowl victory as a rookie.

I think he makes sense at one of the teams doing a lot of RPO stuff. The browns, ravens, Texans, Seattle all make some sense. But if I had to make a bet, I'd go Patriots. He is the type of guy they get some use out of at WR HB, even a little QB etc. They know he will fit their Lockeroom culture

Bo Orlando comes to mind. He had tremendous success in the NFL though I think he made the switch in college. I'd be surprised if he lasts past the 4th round. Dolphins.

He was recruited as a safety by WVU, and that's all he played after HS.

I forgot Bo Orlando. Good one! If I remember correctly, Bo had freak strength. I don't remember him being fast though.

Hell, my last post was really a bump. At the very least, I guarantee you NFL draft personnel will be reading this board, so please, express your opinion on Mr. McSorley if you have one.

UDFA
Carolina or Houston
A year of two on a practice squad, maybe some time on active roster if injuries
Then could carve out a nice career in Canada, as his skill set is a great match

. As some of you know, my next door neighbor was Jason Cabinda’s High School coach and was involved heavily in his picking an agent. I was able to keep abreast of his ascentment from training camp to practice squad to roster. JC knew he was going to make it in Oakland. Gruden wants ‘smart’ football players. This is why Jason made it to the show. Not the most physically gifted player, but was never out of position.

So think about Trace - not the mist gifted but he will not make the big mistake. Perfect as a back up.
