It is mind bogging with the number of supposed 4 star recruits on the OL and at RB, that Penn State has such a pathetic running attack. Were the recruits at these positions overrated or is it the coaching (or lack thereof)?
On the flip side, it is also disturbing how teams are able to run the ball down PSU's throats. Yes, PJ is out - but if one player makes that big of a difference, you have not recruited and/or developed adequate depth.
The Iowa loss was due to injuries, the Illinois loss at home was disgraceful. and last night's loss was huge missed opportunity. OSU is not that good this year - especially on defense. OTOH, Henderson and Stroud are very impressive young players....
