Mental Help Needed at PSU

Coug;
It's a rite of passage. Every generation fears for the next, and the next is greater than the last.
What I see at my age as laziness and entitlement from millennials is actually a high level of intelligence and uncanny ability to look at a process and simplify it. I just won't tell them that.
The future has never been brighter. These kids care more about the planet and their fellow man than we ever did. With the technology at their disposal, they will do great things. Just not the way we would do them, Which is a good thing.
Holy hell Bordeaux. That is impressive positivism.

Yes, I was in the middle of research about global warming. And yes, we are done …
Well, you’re right that the world is not going to win a gold medal with all that global warming. But the kids can still fight for bronze or aluminum or tin. We can’t just say it’s hopeless. And maybe we’ll be surprised (in our graves), if global warming turns out to have significant good effects. Stay positive! :)

My nieces and nephews are all alarmingly intelligent. One of my nieces spends DAYS reading articles on wikipedia. On every obscure topic you can think of. Roman history? Yep, Caesar's circumvallation of Alesia was brilliant. Biology? She can tell you the difference between a gymnosperm and angiosperm, and actually understand what she's talking about.

At her age, I was reading crappy Hardy Boys books and was at the top of my class.

In fairness, Hardy Boys books are more accurate than Wikipedia.
