MHKY vs Mercyhurst - Game 1

Lions drop an ugly game to the in-state Lakers 4-7. Went down 0-3 in the first (including an opening score under 20 seconds in). Fought back to within 1 at 4-5 midway through the 3rd and seemed to have momentum until PSU got hit with a 5-minute penalty. Gave up one on that and another on another penalty at the end of the game. I didn't get to listen to much, but am probably thankful for that lol. Hopefully PSU can get the split tomorrow night.

This is not a good hockey team right now. The team is either resting on last year's accomplishment or proving it was a bit of a fluke.

Whatever is going on, we're playing soft all over the ice. Slow starts, weak D, dumb penalties and awful goaltending.

A fluky loss to AIC in overtime is forgivable early in the year but giving up 7 to Mercyhurst in a loss is inexcusable a month into the season.
