We have only heard of PSU wrestlers going to the Scuffle, of course that was before these other tourneys were announced. But I assume they still follow Cael’s plan.

So what excuses are we going to make for Iowa for not going to the replacement tournament where all the tough competition will be?
I guess the same ones PSU is making for not sending their starters to the scuffle but considering neither team was planning on sending starters they are not really excuses, just following the plans they had in place. Even if the real Midlands wasn't cancelled Iowa was not planning on sending starters this year after just having the duals.
So then we can expect Iowa's starters to not participate at the Hawkeye Open?
Assad will sit it out, can't have him losing to another high schooler!
As an aside, the Hawkeye Open is now a 1 day thing - originally was set for 2 days.

Some weights have multiple hawks. Are hawk parents allowed to cheer for their kid against another hawk at this event? Maybe some video and witnesses to nothing happened again
i believe so. maybe a couple starters, but all of the indications were that most of the guys would not be wrestling at midlands.
they've still got a couple months left to find some funny ones. don't lose faith yet. we've never had to come up with old jokes for college wrestlers before. it's uncharted territory.

I don't know about cheer but they boo for injury defaults between hawk teammates.

Demetrius Romero is a 7th year as well, but is out for the season. Would be eligible for an 8th year next season .

Eiremann was a senior in HS for the 2014-25 season so this is his 7th year. Redshirted as a true frosh in 2016. Olympic RS in 2020 and free COVID year in 2021.
