Mike lied about watching Rudy that night

Anybody with a brain knows that whole story was bullshit. Watching Rudy on a Friday night, at his age at the time (or any age), doesn't motivate you to go and put gym shoes in your locker. Of all of the concocted fabrications of this event, this was clearly the most ridiculous, and yet nobody questioned it.

As I've said before, we can't figure out what the hell happened that night, for real, until we know why the hell he was there, for real.

And if he was hammered, who could blame him? I'd have to be hammered to watch Rudy, myself.

I don't know the answer to this but has anyone thought of searching phone records? Did Mike call from a physical phone at Lasch or use a cell phone? That would verify times that were actual or alleged.

Help me out, Mix. Someone I have on ignore is making some claims. Who is it and what is that person saying? Is it the same person who has some secret? I'd try to figure it out but I have a lot of posters on ignore. "Too dumb" covers most of them. :)

It's the guy who couldn't find his ass with both hands but knows without question what McQueary told JVP based on Joe's vague testimony where he said repeatedly that he himself didn't know. Does that help? If not maybe this will....

Stop being mad. MM said he was at Lasch working late, and that was exactly what he was doing. So my take (or stance, or whatever you want to call it) is that his stories line up, so this thread and that article are ridiculous. It's just more of the tinfoil hat BS that will get spun around here as being a "fact" when it isn't. There is nothing in that report that points to MM lying, but yet here he is being accused of not only lying but with working with the OAG in executing that lie in order to nail CSS. Laughable.

Again you are too dumb to understand the hypocrisy point. Not surprising. It's a lonely place in that vacuum between your ears.

So why would Ira Lubert shell out $100 million like that without proper vetting to claimants that had stories of abuse done to them by the founder and chairman of a kids charity that had agreements with Children & Youth Services?

Ira's a successful, savvy, highly influential & politically connected businessman here in our state. He's got a state casino license to think about and a state licensed medical marijuana business to invest in.
The A9 shelled most of it out as well.

Calm down Barry,

The location and circumstances of this "incident" are so unique that my identity (which I purposely try to hide) could / might be exposed by a member of the "Clan".

What would you say worries you the most about them discovering your identity?

Having a locker slammed in anger towards you or receiving a picture of someone's junk via text?

So being home early and in bed by 8:00 PM is the same thing as "at Lasch working late"? Got it.

Anyone know if Mike was drinking that night? I think the Bare Naked Ladies or some band had a Concert that evening, not that Mike attended. But it would have made it easier to call in additional Security from off the street.
He went to the Lasch building to get some tapes to do work. That is consistent with everything he has said.

I understand what you think is hypocritical, I'm telling you that I'm not making excuses for what MM said because I don't have to. He stated the whole time that he went to Lasch to work late. There is no significant inconsistency in his story. There is nothing to spin.

This "watching Rudy" bullshit is as comical as the kid over by Scranton who was looking at an eff book and "it made me go wild and "attack" my teacher (female)".

True.

But how can he share with daddy-O and Dr Dranov that it wasn't "sexual nature" Friday night but tell Joe and TC it "was" sexual nature?

Someone is lying.

You play dumb better than anyone on this board. To the point where one could have the "stance" that it's not an act.

I thought someone had debunked the "Rudy" story right after this shit storm started?
IIRC they went back through old TV'Guides and thats how the whole "date and year" thingy
was questioned.

I'm not the one foolish enough to believe tinfoil hat theories. But have at it and then get mad when the world rejects them.

Anybody with half a brain knows that.

Rather disturbing that some support the corrupt, immoral and disgraceful "tyranny" which has clearly been perpetrated here at the behest of State Actors and Pennsylvania prosecutors (including the State's highest ranking Law Enforcement Office and Officer). Pretty frightening and hypocritical that some defend this "the end justifies the means" (including lying lawyer prosecutors and lawyers-turned-politicians whose morals are more degraded than the criminals!). Our society - especially the moral-fiber and integrity of State-Actors, politicians and officials - has gone to hell in a hand-basket and become "Modern Rome" in regards to the level of hypocrisy and unrighteousness that pervades the self-promoting, self-adulating, corrupt filth that we "hold-up" to our children as "role models", "leaders" and paragons of virtue & integrity as to the way they should conduct themselves.... Hypocrisy typically breeds more hypocrisy which is precisely what was meant by, "The sins of the parent shall be revisited upon the child".

Hello? A little focus on Cynthia Baldwin and WHY they had to jiggle the story?

If for no other reason than to make it look like Curley and Schultz were trying to conspire and cover up. Remember, the "secret file" came out during Freeh's investigation...he actually took credit for it's "discovery". So by then, they had already broken the eggs, now the narrative was on how to justify it

Sandusky/Amendola debunked the year being 2002. They came out and said it was 2001. My opinion is that the OAG got their hands on the 'secret file' that Schultz handed over and that gave them the date. Then they backed into the Rudy story.

I believe Freeh took credit for identifying 2002 as the year. he took credit for "discovering" the "secret file". He also verified the date when they discovered the emails between CS&S. I suspect that they wanted to use the emails, and had to "come clean" on the date. they had to balance the use of the emails versus changing the date and made a value decision. They then came up with the "discovered the secret file" narrative.

Where have you been? Were you on double secret probation?

The Rudy story never made sense to me. It sounded like total BS from the get go.

My opinion? Mike was drunk and he wasn't supposed to be there. That's been my opinion for about 4 or 5 years now. It was instinctively my first thought when I heard the whole "Rudy story" for the first time.

agree....not sure why "Rudy" would inspire a guy to get out of his seat and drive to Lasch to view recruiting tapes on a Friday night (and to put new sneakers in his locker). Why wouldn't you wait until the end of the movie or, then, Saturday morning?

"The current date at the time of this apparent file transfer from Baldwin to the OAG was early January 2011. The real date posed a problem because the OAG could not make it fit under the existing statute of limitations in 2001. However, a 2002 date could be made to fit under a 2006 amendment to the statute that was enacted in 2007.

"At this point, McQueary was not sure if the incident happened in 2001 or 2002. This was golden for the OAG. Even though the notes clearly showed the exact date of 2-12-01, the OAG decided to go with the 2002 date.

"Why? Because that gave them an ‘extra year’ to file a Failure to Report charge against the PSU men. If the incident happened in 2002, then it was within the limit. Curley and Schultz were charged in November 2011."

Prosecutorial misconduct and why was Baldwin so involved?

Rudy, recruiting tapes, tennis shoes, slapping sounds behind doors...while I readily admit I do not know and anything is possible, my opinion from the beginning was that none of that made much sense. There is something else going on. Mike being a liar and a pawn for the prosecution causes a lot of other things to make sense that otherwise make no sense at all.

recruiting tapes? wasn't recruiting either over for that year, or just about wrapped up? And if so why would he have to look at tapes at the last minute? Maybe he was getting a head start on next year? After busting your ass all week, recruiting winding down, that's what you wanted to do on a Friday night? Knowing you have a whole year to get it done? While being single? Is State College that dull?? He was a GA, why wouldn't the positon coach or area coach review them?
I would have an easier time saying he was going there to watch some pro tape that just came in, than recruiting tapes.
