Millen's Comment about Gilliken

So, after seeing the BW game live I went home and watched the broadcast that I had DVRed. I thought that Matt Millen's comments that Blake Gilliken should not be a team captain were highly inappropriate and classless. (He said he doesn't feel that kickers put in as much time/effort as other players.) Who is he to say who should/should not be a captain? Blake has been a critical part of our success the past 2 seasons. Not to mention, he's in the honors college and I believe is a 4.0 student. It sounds to me like he's exactly the kind of leader you want on a team. Even if Matt truly feels the way he does, he should not have said that on the broadcast. Can you imagine how that must have made Blake and his family feel? Matt should apologize.
