Minnesota vs Michigan thread

It looked like McKee accused Suriano of being greased.

Here is an odd topic tied to being "greased"

This is something I haven't really thought about until I heard a very slight and understated statement by Cenzo on the last Bashamania show. He said something along the lines "The Hawkeyes are the slipperiest team we faced" then he quickly moved on, probably trying to avoid making a big issue of things.

Coincidentally I was at the dermatologist for my annual skin cancer check two weeks ago and I asked about a good moisturizer for my dry skin on my legs. She recommended CeraVe. The stuff is great and after rubbing it on it disappears and leaves no residue whatsoever. However.... When you sweat or when taking a shower even hours later my skin is as slippery as an eel. I could easily see a wrestler using this stuff to drive his opponents nuts, and he would absolutely pass any kind of exam or skin check, until of course you start sweating during the match. Then advantage CeraVe. This stuff could pay a big role for someone who wants to cheat.

Makes you wonder. Until I heard Cenzo's reference I never thought this was a thing.

I listened to that show today. Cenzo made it clear he wasn’t making accusations but yeah, it could make you wonder if there are teams out there doing that.

Saw a Segue of Tom Brands Sr saying he punched a guy in the face at a wrestling match for running his mouth. Kinda makes sense.
I saw a Segway with AJ Ferrari shooting a guy in the face! :)

A few weeks ago Massa best someone (forget who, certainly not Carter!) and I seem to remember was acting like a huge asshole afterwards.

JD Bergman is pretty solid on the mic
He’s pretty good. Not sure I agree with his take that the fireman’s carry is not used much in college wrestling. I’ve seen it quite a bit. Especially the guys who use many different leg attacks.

BTW, anyone else see Miles Amine be awarded a TD once he was fully behind, arm around waist and Skillings in 4-point stance even though Skillings had a weak whizzer in (Ref gave 2T because whizzer was not deep enough).

How many times will we have to see the Brands telling us how tough they are/were during tonight’s match. I’m guessing over on 10 times.

At Carver I could see it. I will stick to my original prediction that Kem doesn’t reach finals this year. And most likely finishes no better than 4th.
If that shoulder holds out it will take someone really freaking good to beat him. Carter and Lewis are obviously really freaking good, as is Hidlay. So 4th is a possibility.
Carver, Rec Hall, BJC, Pinnacle Bank Arena or Little Caesars Arena you are safe.
